I'm a newbie to rom hacking, and since there are many problems I face now, I'd like to seek for help here.

I'm doing some practice on modifying Sonic 2 in SonED v.50B, and there are few things I need to ask about:

    1. Path swappers

I know they swap the current path with the one set in them, and the L-1 R-0/U-1 D-0 (03 10 00 - 03 17 00) are for loops and other sprite covering objects, but what are others for?

    2. Bugged object

Look at the top of the screen:

There's an object recognized by SonED as an unknown object, and I made it accidentally by changing the ID of a tall vertical path swapper.

The problem is, that it's located above the level now, and I cannot grab it even in the editor. How can I remove/change position of it?

    3. Music

I saw many Sonic 2 hacks, but none of them had any other music edit except the rearranged playlist. Is it possible to put in the music from Sonic 3, Sonic Crackers, Knuckles Chaotix and other games, like in hacks for Sonic 1? How can I do it, if possible?

May as well answer the questions.

    1. Check the original tags loops for the ones you need.

    2. Delete the tile, then the object, and bring the tile back, or if you're using soned 2 press T i think it was to change object views.

    3. You need a split disassembly, port the s1 sound driver (unless you want to deal with s2's which is a bitch) and then port it like that <.<

SonED cannot go higher than the top of the level, that's the problem. And I don't know how to use SonED2 yet.

For the sound question, stupid me... forgot that RHS already managed to do it in S2R, and for the sound driver, I could try that. And I've already learned swappers by looking at CPZ layout. ;)

Lock this please, mods. I'll already try to mess with the object by myself.

Ok well you wanna do one thing at a time. First do the easiest thing and delete/move those objects out of the way. I strongly suggest using soned 2, if you don't know how then you can ask me VIA PM.
